The architect Sigmund Kronfeltzer was highly on the creative side, perhaps a bit mad. He committed suicide after the Pope visited Jorgens in 1732 and ordered the town's Bishop to tear the domes down. Too bad! Because of strong local Protestant influence and local pride, the Arch Duke intervened and the Pope's orders were never followed.
